Neil Dement - Bass, Percussion and Vocals

Neil is the bass player and co-founder of Funk Syndicate. Neil has been playing professionally for over 25 years and has worked with several local and regional groups based out of the Kansas City area. He has opened for several national and regional acts such as Bad Co., Little River Band, Kansas, Missouri, Loverboy, Poco, Pat Traverse, Head East, Survivor, Molly Hatchet, and Paul Rogers.

Neil has written/co-written a multitude of  songs and  has several studio recordings to his credit. You can catch some of Neil's  works on Blue Sky's - "BOHICA", "Prophet - Prophet", The Bob Harvey Band - "Enjoy The Ride",
"Inferno 2 - Uncle Jack compilation" and "Inferno 3 - Solo". 

Neil plays Heartfield, Dean, and Fender Basses, Fender and Guild Guitars and uses Hartke amplification.
